the family loved the pies & cakes that grandma memah would bake. prized desserts as I'm told. it wasn't as often as she would've loved for her children, that they would visit home after leaving & building lives on both coasts of this United States, but when they did come home; grandma had their favorite cake or pie READY! she made the best blueberry cobbler completely from scratch & always fresh ingredients, which made this a top tier pie, however the most memorable part of this dessert was this lemony sauce that was achieved to the correct consistency every time she prepared it...after placing a slice in a bowl she'd pour that sauce over the pie & step back & watch you eat it with such delight. no one could replicate that sauce they said. she should've sold it!
